Asparagus is an excellent houseplant, since it does not require complex maintenance, but it will perfectly decorate the interior.
Many species of this plant can be found in nature, but Sprenger's asparagus is most often bred at home. It is a graceful plant with long branches covered with tiny narrow leaves. This asparagus can bloom, but its flowers are very small - small white flowers after which small red berries will appear.
Asparagus Schrenger is very easy to propagate - you can simply divide the overgrown plant (you need to pay attention so as not to damage the roots as much as possible), or you can buy seeds that you just need to sow into the ground.
Homemade asparagus is a thermophilic plant, but you should not expose it to open sunlight, it is better to shade it slightly. But too large a shadow should be avoided, because in the shade it will stretch out, lose most of its beauty (the shoots will be too long, the splendor of the flower will be lost).
No complicated care of asparagus is required. Water it as the soil dries up, do not put it on a cool loggia in winter, periodically use mineral fertilizing when watering.
Helpful hint: Sprenger's asparagus can be used to decorate bouquets with your own hands (floral design). A couple of cut branches of asparagus will create the volume of the bouquet, while the plant itself will very quickly restore losses.
By the way, asparagus is also asparagus.
