A business card is an important part of a professional business design. It has not only aesthetic value, but also carries important information about the owner, his company and business. That is why high requirements are imposed on the design of a business card. The business card must contain concise and clear information, contact details, company logo, owner's first and last name.
Instructions
Step 1
The whole impression of a business card can be spoiled by the wrong, crooked cut of the paper. To avoid this, you need to order business cards from good printing companies.
Step 2
The most important equipment for making business cards after printing machines are cutters. They are different: disc, saber and guillotine. The disc cutter has a rotating circular knife that moves along a guide. This cutter is good for cutting large cut sheets.
Step 3
The reciprocating cutter works like a scissor. Cutting large stacks of paper is inconvenient for them. But they are good at working with thick paper, cardboard.
Step 4
The guillotine cutter consists of a knife that moves along a vertical axis, allowing you to cut large stacks of paper (up to 80 mm) quickly enough. For cutting accuracy, the guillotine cutter is equipped with automatic clamps, a ruler. Some models have an illuminated cutting line. An indispensable element of the guillotine cutter is a protective cover, which avoids injury to workers-cutters.
Step 5
Guillotine cutting technology is simple. Fold the required amount of paper into a stack, straighten it, press down with the automatic clamp. Mark the place of cutting on the ruler, bring the stack to the cutting line.
Step 6
Remove your hands and lower the guillotine lever. Cut off unnecessary edges and margins from the four sides of the sheet by turning it.
Step 7
Cut the sheet along the length of the business cards, fold the resulting stripes into a column. Now cut these stripes across to match the number of business cards in the strip.
