How pleasant it is to prepare for the New Year: buying outfits, pondering the festive menu and decorating the Christmas tree. You can hang new toys from the store on it, or you can make them yourself with the children. And let the results of home creativity be, perhaps, a little crooked or not painted very neatly. But a piece of festive mood will remain in them. And you can make crafts from anything. Buttons, pieces of fabric, cotton wool, shreds of shiny paper, thread, cardboard - everything will go to work.

Instructions
Step 1
Take an unnecessary white sock or cotton stocking. The flat part of the toe will go into action, up to the heel, cut off the rest. Sew the resulting pipe from one end. Fill the resulting bag with cotton wool or synthetic winterizer and tighten it tightly with a thick thread. It turned out the head of a snowman. The hat can be made from cardboard or a piece of cloth, the eyes and mouth can be drawn with a pen or felt-tip pen. Make the torso and arms in the same way as the head, just make sure that the dimensions are appropriate. By the way, if you take socks of different colors, the result will be even more interesting.
Step 2
Take a small balloon. Thoroughly grease the inflated balloon with paper glue over the entire surface. Now wind the threads around it so that it completely disappears under their layer. Threads can be of different colors and textures: cotton, woolen, shiny, multi-colored or solid. Leave some free space in the area of the ball tie. Wait for the glue to dry and poke a hole in the ball with a needle. It will deflate and can be neatly removed through the hole you left behind. Sew a loop to the ball. You can stick bright buttons, paper snowflakes or beads on it.
Step 3
Knead a very tough dough with one glass of flour, one glass of salt and half a glass of water. Use a rolling pin to roll it out as thick as a finger and cut out small figures in the form of animals or any objects. You can use muffin or cookie cutters. Do not forget to make small holes in the figures for the eyelet. Bake the products in the oven at 50 degrees for about two to three hours. Paint the cooled figures with watercolors or gouache, you can attach beads, colored paper or multi-colored buttons to PVC glue. If you paint the toys with varnish, they will last longer.
Step 4
Take thick cardboard, cut out figures of animals, Santa Claus or fairy-tale characters according to a pre-prepared template. Paint them with bright colors, and after drying, cover with a colorless varnish. Glue the loop to the toy to hang it on the tree.
