Preparations for the New Year are already in full swing. Garlands, Christmas balls and tinsel appear in stores. It's time to think about gifts too. Next year 2015 is the year of the goat. I suggest you occupy yourself with a fascinating business - make a symbol of the coming year from cotton swabs.
For crafts you will need:
- thick cardboard sheet;
- cotton swabs;
- wooden clothespins - 2 pcs.;
- PVA glue;
- scissors.
How to make a goat from cotton swabs
- Taking a cardboard sheet, draw an ellipse on it - it will serve as the body for the craft. The second part should be somewhat smaller - it will play the role of the goat's head. Carefully cut out the parts shown, then set them aside for a while.
- Take cotton swabs and use scissors to cut off the ends with cotton wool. For crafts, you will need them.
- Now you can start making the craft itself. I suggest starting with the harder part - the torso. Having lubricated the cardboard ellipsoidal part with PVA glue, begin to glue the heads of the cotton swabs. Glue the cotton heads in a fan-like fashion. After making the first layer, proceed to the second. Try to do everything as carefully as possible, otherwise you can ruin the appearance of the craft. Please note that you need to glue cotton swabs from the tail to the head of the goat. The torso is ready.
- Apply glue to the top of the small part, then place 3 cut cotton swabs on the greased surface with glue - you get a forelock. On both sides of the peculiar forelock, glue the ears of the future goat. Using a pen or felt-tip pen, draw the mouth, eyes and nose on the piece of cardboard. The head is ready.
- It remains to collect all the details together. Mark points for the legs on the body of the future goat. Then, according to the given markings, glue the wooden clothespins. After the glue dries, fix the head. If you wish, you can decorate it with beads or a bow.
