Step 1
To make a homemade radio-controlled helicopter, you first need to find a suitable model, pick up the blueprints. Then take the material (it can be either plastic or wood). If you want to make a helicopter with windows, then you need transparent plastic, which must also be processed in accordance with the parameters of the cockpit of the future model.
Step 2
Next, you need to assemble the model according to the description in the diagram, carefully adjusting the parts and carefully gluing them together. Don't forget the propeller and tail. You can connect the parts together with small nuts. This will help to secure them more securely, and your helicopter will not fall apart in the air. Remember to leave room for the motor.
Step 3
While the main part dries up, you can do the engine itself. To do this, you need to take a ready-made battery. Batteries for radio-controlled models have a capacity from 200-300 to 2000 mAh. Place the battery in the middle of the hull so that the battery does not outweigh the helicopter. Don't forget to check how it works in tandem with the remote control. Insert the screw shaft into the power supply, then slide the blades onto it. Now you can check how the battery reacts to the remote control.
Step 4
Now fully assemble the model and try to launch it into the air. If it works, then you did everything right, and the motor is selected according to the weight of the product. If the helicopter does not take off, then you need to disassemble it and determine what the problem is. Remember to route the wires from the main power supply to the rear screw located at the rear of the model. If this is not done, then the tail can "drag away" the entire body of the helicopter.

The last step is to decorate your model. Paints or stickers may work for this. You can paint the helicopter in any color you like.
