Butterflies with their airiness and beauty have long attracted the attention of creative people - they decorate clothes, hairstyles, accessories, interiors, and much more with butterflies. With a little imagination, suitable materials, paints, fabrics and wire for the frame, you can easily make your own beautiful butterfly out of fabric. Prepare white nylon, thin wire, superglue, acrylic paints, sequins or beads, a clip, brushes, scissors, felt-tip pens and other decorative materials for decorating butterfly wings.

Instructions

Step 1

Take a wire and cut off individual pieces 20 cm long. Twist two pieces of wire into a tight spiral, and then connect the ends of each spiral and fasten so that one end is longer than the other, forming a rounded frame.

Step 2

After that, cut off two pieces of white elastic nylon of sufficient size with scissors and tighten both frames with them, pulling the nylon. Tie up the fabric left over from the frame after covering, and twist it with the long end of the spiral wire.

Step 3

Cut off the excess nylon. Do the same with the second frame. After both frames are covered with nylon, give the wire the shape of the wings, gently bending them. Sew the wings together with threads, or fasten them with thin wire. Cut the ends of the threads.

Step 4

For the body of a butterfly, an elongated metal clip-clip will suit you. Snap it at the junction of the two wings, after having lubricated the middle with superglue.

Step 5

Now take a pre-prepared tube of liquid glitter and gently apply glitter along the contour of the wings to hide the wire frame. The rest of the butterfly decor depends on your imagination - use beads, beads, paints and brushes to give the butterfly the desired color and depict patterns on the wings.

Step 6

For a uniform background, mix water with a little paint and tint the wings with a damp brush. The body of the butterfly - the clip - also paint with acrylics and outline the eyes.
