A toy made of fabric, made by hand personally for a loved one, is not only fun, but also a sign of attention and love. The texture of the fabric itself suggests ideas for creativity: soft fleece turns into a Tilda hare, rich brocade turns into a dragon. It is worth showing your imagination and spending a little time to see the grateful look of a child playing with a new fabric toy.

Instructions
Step 1
Think about what kind of toys you want to make from fabric. A flat craft is not difficult to complete, make it if you are just starting to sew. On a piece of paper, draw the silhouette of an animal of the desired size. Cut out the template.
Step 2
Fold the fabric in half with the right side inward as you turn the toy inside out. Put a template on it, trace along the contour with a pencil or tailor's chalk. If you want to make a toy from different fabrics, trace the template on two pieces of fabric, observing the front and back sides.
Step 3
Pin the fabric together. Sew the parts of the toy with your hands or on a typewriter, leaving an unstitched place for stuffing the product. Pay attention to the stitches - sew the turned-out toy with straight stitches, and decorate the one that does not need to be turned inside out with an overlock stitch.
Step 4
Cut off the excess fabric, cut in several places. Turn the toy inside out with a pencil, carefully straightening out all the details. Stuff the craft with padding polyester or cotton wool and sew the hole with a blind stitch or overlock stitch.
Step 5
Use blind stitches to frame the animal's face, make folds on the body. Using acrylic paints, paint the eyes and mouth of the finished toy or sew on beads. Decorate with braid or buttons.
Step 6
It is a little more difficult to make bulky toys out of fabric. Cut out details of all parts of the body or torso on paper, while note that the head and paws can consist of 4-6 parts. Cut out the templates and sign them.
Step 7
Take fabric in different colors. Lay out the patterns on the appropriate fabric, observing the right and wrong sides, as well as the common thread. Circle all parts and cut them out, leaving 5 mm seam allowances.
Step 8
Pin or sweep away parts of the toy. Sew the parts together, do not forget to leave unstitched areas in inconspicuous places.
Step 9
Turn the parts right out. If you want the limbs of the toy to bend, insert a wire inside the parts. Stuff parts of the body with cotton wool, padding polyester or padding polyester. Sew up the fabric parts of the toy with a blind seam.
Step 10
Connect all parts together with blind stitches. In order for the arms and legs to move, sew small buttons to the body, and make slits in the paws, which you sweep. "Clip" the paws to the body of the toy.
