Beautiful brooches from a variety of materials can instantly transform any, even the most ordinary, unremarkable things. It is no coincidence that textile jewelry is gaining more and more popularity, because they are easy to manufacture and have a special - hand-made and cozy - beauty. Denim in this respect is a very grateful material, because jewelry made from it is very versatile: as they say, both for a feast and for the world, and they can be made literally in one sitting. And old jeans can be found in any home.

Instructions
Step 1
Draw a template along which you will cut out the details of a denim brooch: take a regular glass (or, for example, a saucer, if you need a larger piece of jewelry) and circle a circle on thick paper. Divide it into four parts, and then halve each of them so that you get eight equal sectors. Around the entire circumference above each sector, draw a semicircular scallop - you have the shape of a flower.
Step 2
Place the template on the denim and trace around it with a white tailor's pencil or crayon. In this way, draw nine details on the fabric. Place them close to each other for economical cutting. Cut out the details.
Step 3
Set one piece aside - it will be the base to which you will sew the rest. Take the second "flower" and fold it in half twice to make a quarter circle. Make sure that the scallops do not bend at the same time.
Step 4
Manually, with a thread to match, sew the resulting workpiece to the center of the base part, grabbing it with a few neat stitches. Similarly, bend and sew three more pieces side by side to form a circle. Place them in folds clockwise.
Step 5
Sew the remaining four "flowers", folded in four, in the same way, to the center of the first layer, but place the blanks with an offset of 45 degrees relative to the lower parts.
Step 6
Sew a safety pin to the back to make your brooch easy to fasten. By the way, you can decorate with it not only a dress or a jumper, but also a bag. And if such a denim flower is attached to a headband or hairpin, then it will decorate your hair with dignity.
Step 7
This brooch can be a little more complicated and more interesting if you replace some of the details from jeans, for example, lace, chiffon, from "fun chintz" or others - according to your taste. Make layers of blanks from different fabrics or mix textures within one layer.
Step 8
Also try making the center of the flower brooch out of a strip of denim that has been loosened into a fringe and rolled up. The middle of several beads or beautiful buttons sewn into the center of the "flower" will also look exquisite.
