Step 1
Cast on 60 stitches and work 3 rows in a simple stitch. This will be a "loop handle" on one side of the washcloth. Then, without cutting the thread, make a chain of 40 air loops, close it and knit in a circle. Perform 5 rows in a simple column, knitting a "loop handle" on both sides into the edge of the washcloth.
Step 2
Now start knitting the main part of the product, which is knitted with elongated loops. First, try to knit this type of loops on the sample, so as not to spoil the intended thing later. Moreover, here you just need to get used to simultaneously holding the hook and at the same time pulling the loops. The hook is usually held with three fingers of the right hand - the index, thumb and middle, and the working thread is behind the product. To knit elongated loops, you will have to "sacrifice" the middle finger on which you will throw the loop.
Step 3
Take the hook with your index and thumb, yarn over the middle finger and, holding it with your ring finger, make a simple column at the same time. Perform the rest of the loops in the same way. Knit the next row without extended loops - in simple columns. Firstly, there is no need to knit such a large number of "curly-haired women", and secondly, each subsequent row reinforces the elongated loops with simple columns so that they do not subsequently deform (do not stretch and, on the contrary, do not pull into the washcloth).
Step 4
Everyone determines the length of the washcloth for themselves. The size of the palm is very convenient. In this case, such a bath accessory can be used simply by putting it on your hand, like a mitten. However, you can knit a much larger number of rows, and then the product will take on a traditional elongated look. After knitting the main part, knit 5 rows again with a simple column (no loops). Without tearing off the thread, cast on 60 air loops, fasten the last of them on the opposite edge of the washcloth. Knit 3 rows in this "loop" in a simple column. Perform each last column by tying a handle to the edge of the washcloth.
