It is necessary

  • - ski boots;
  • - long socks.

Instructions

Step 1

In the cold, the plastic parts of the boots become hard, so try to either keep them from freezing (for example, bring them in a tight bag) or warm them up somewhere. If you are arriving by car, wear your boots while they are still warm and relatively soft.

Step 2

It is best to wear special long ski socks under your boots. You can do with ordinary underwear, but make sure that there are no lumps and folds, both on the socks and on the clothes that get into the shoes. Thermal underwear should end at the toe above the bootleg and not get into the boot.

Step 3

If the shoes are too big, do not put anything inside, it will not sit tighter. Choose only ski boots of your size, they should fit snugly on your foot, but not cause pain or squeeze the blood supply.

Step 4

Spread the flaps of the outer hard boot in the boot, pull it out and swing the tongue of the boot to the side. Bring your foot inward, rotating it slightly around the ankle. The leg should, as it were, screw into the boot.

Step 5

Replace the tongue of the boot and bring the collars together. The heel will fit better if you tap your foot on the floor. If the heel does not "stand up", loosely fasten the upper clip and press the bootleg forward, slightly move the leg in the boot. In this case, the fingers should not be bent and squeezed. Place your tongue inside the soft liner and hook on the slings (if provided by the manufacturer).

Step 6

Start closing the clips. To secure your foot in the boot, fasten the two center clips located on the joint, then tighten the outer clips and the strap. Try to fix your leg well, but do not tighten too much.

Step 7

Tighten the clips one at a time, adding one division each time. It is very convenient if the clips of your boots are threaded - in this case, you can choose the optimal position of each fastener.

Step 8

Retighten the lines if they become loose after fastening the clips. Hook the lower skirt of the pants into the boot and lower the leg.

Step 9

After a couple of descents, tighten the clips, because the leg changes shape while rolling. Now you are ready to conquer the mountainous expanses!
