You don't have to spend a lot of money and buy things from famous designers or in expensive stores to create a convenient and beautiful basket for small items or laundry. It is enough to have a little imagination and … rope!
The top photo shows a handy and cute basket for laundry or small items, which perfectly decorates the bedroom. If you do not know how it is made, then you will never think that to create it you need an ordinary cheap office trash can and a thick rope.
plastic wastebasket or small laundry basket, thick rope, hot glue.
Turn the basket upside down and start gluing the string to the outside of the basket. Lay the rope in tight turns so that the plastic base of the craft is not visible behind the layers of rope. See the photo below:
After the entire outside of the basket is completely covered with glue coils of rope, do the same on the back of the basket to mask the plastic. The result is shown in the photo below:
Please note that it is not necessary to trim the entire inner part with a rope; it is enough to glue 5-10 turns of rope to give the impression that the whole basket is, as it were, woven.
To make this craft even more original, paint part of the rope with fabric dyes and glue the pieces of colored and white rope alternately. Another option to make the basket more elegant is to stick a white rope, and lay a colored pattern on top of it.
