The envelope for letters can be bought at any branch of the Russian Post. It is inexpensive, but it looks - usually. If you are not satisfied with such an ordinary container for sending, fold the one-of-a-kind envelope with your own hands.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a sheet of paper about 2.5 times the size of a letter or postcard. Place the item you will be mailing in an envelope to the bottom, short part of the sheet. Slide it so that there is 2 cm between the bottom and sides of the item and the paper. Trace the sides and top of the postcard or letter.
Step 2
Fold the paper along the top line, placing the bottom of the paper on top of the top. Put the resulting pocket back in the letter or postcard. Fold the sides of the sheet towards the center. Lower the rest of the sheet down. This flap should overlap the envelope pocket by about 3 cm. If it is too long, cut it off.
Step 3
Unfold the paper. At the edges of the sheet, narrow rectangles are formed, outlined by folds. Cut off the lowermost rectangles on the right and left. Do the same with the top ones. Bend the remaining valves in the center and grease with glue. To avoid staining the paper around, place a piece of cardboard or album sheet under the valves.
Step 4
Place the bottom half of the envelope over the flaps. Smooth the paper from edge to center to remove excess glue and air. Once the glue is dry, the envelope can be used.
Step 5
To make many envelopes in a minimal amount of time, try another method. Cut a square out of the paper. Fold it diagonally, then unfold it again. Position the workpiece so that the corners point to the sides, up and down. Bend the side corners towards the center - one of them should overlap the other by 3 mm. Connect this part of the envelope with a drop of glue.
Step 6
Raise the lower corner of the rhombus so that it is 5 mm higher than the newly aligned sections, and glue it. Pull the rest of the envelope down.
Step 7
To decorate the envelope, you can round the corners of the envelope. If you do not want to use plain paper, but with a drawing, make sure that the address written by hand is distinguishable on it.
