By the New Year, everyone dreams of decorating the space around them to make the atmosphere festive and joyful. There are many different ideas that allow you to decorate any room in an original and bright way for the New Year holidays - a work office, an apartment or a kindergarten. One such idea is a Christmas tree cut in the form of snowflakes and assembled by hand.

It is necessary

  • - green paper,
  • - scissors,
  • - glue.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare green colored paper and cut it into squares of different sizes. The first snowflake from large squares should turn out to be large, the next - slightly smaller, and all other squares should decrease towards the top of the future Christmas tree. The smallest square for the last snowflake should be 7x7 cm. Make two snowflakes of each size.

Step 2

To make a snowflake for a Christmas tree, fold a square sheet of paper of the desired size diagonally, and fold the resulting triangle in half again. On the resulting triangle, make three cuts parallel to the edge of the triangle with scissors, not reaching the main fold. Expand the figurine.

Step 3

Align the corners of the inner square and glue, or secure with a stapler. Turn the workpiece over and match the corners of the next cut elements by gluing them. Turn the workpiece over again and repeat the same with the new corners. Thus, you alternately bend and secure the corners, first on one side and then on the other. As a result, you will get a voluminous and beautiful facet of the future snowflake.

Step 4

Make six of the same edges, and then staple them in the middle. To prevent the snowflake from scattering, also fasten the sides of the face to each other with a stapler.

Step 5

In this way, make all the snowflakes for the Christmas tree - you will need, as mentioned above, two snowflakes of each size. When the snowflakes are ready, start assembling the tree by stringing the snowflakes in the right order on two long, strong threads. Place a small red snowflake on the top of the tree. Hang the finished Christmas tree on a thread from the ceiling.
