It is always pleasant to surprise people with everything new and unusual, giving them positive emotions. Add variety to a regular bouquet by making it with your own hands from soft toys. Such a plush gift will surely be remembered by the hero of the occasion.
Preparation of details for a plush bouquet
To make a bouquet with your own hands, you can use both new and old toys in good condition, musical toys or key rings. A bouquet of homemade soft toys will be especially interesting and exclusive.
If you need a large number of bouquets, take an interest in the assortment of toys at wholesale stores in your city.
Plush toys in a bouquet can be fixed in several ways. For the little hero of the occasion, you need to make sure that the soft gift can be used by pulling out all the toys. Therefore, use wooden skewers, glue ribbons to the ends of which, and tie toys to bows. In a bouquet for an adult, plush details can be glued to skewers or secured with floral wire. Pierce it through the bottom of the toy with the sharp end, bend and twist the two ends of the wire.
From a thick piece of Styrofoam, Styrofoam or a floral sponge, use a sharp knife to cut a circle of such a diameter that you can place all your chosen bouquet toys on it. Grind the circle down to a cone.
If the foam is not thick enough, make several equal circles and glue them, and then shape into a cone.
Make a handle for the bouquet. To do this, you can take a hard cardboard center from a roll of foil or cling film, cut off a piece of plastic pipe, or roll a magazine or poster into a roll.
At the top of the styrofoam cone, make a hole with a knife just large enough to insert the handle for the bouquet. Spread it with hot glue and attach it to the handle.
Making a bouquet of soft toys
The base of the bouquet must be draped. Cut a suitable piece of crepe paper or fabric and wrap it in a foam cone. Secure it with a stapler or glue it. Place the composition of soft toys inside the bouquet. Stick skewers or wire into the styrofoam for the desired effect. You can place all the toys in one plane, or you can stick them in so that some of them are higher and the other lower. Fill in the free space between the toys with decorative details. These can be candy flowers, beads on a wire, bows.
Make a skirt for the bouquet out of crepe paper. Wrap the cone with paper and glue or staple the sidewall. Glue the paper bottom to the handle, and make a ruffle on top. To do this, stretch the paper slightly around the edge to make it wavy. Wrap the handle with colored crepe paper or satin ribbon and secure with glue.
