Musical creativity is partly elite. Indeed, it is impossible to write a new work without proper training in the theory and history of music, theory and practice of performing and other special disciplines.
Instructions
Step 1
Do some serious prep work. Determine in which genre you want to write for which instrument. It may be a deliberate choice or an insight from above, but you must accept this choice and continue to strictly follow the rules of your own game.
It is better to write the first piece for one instrument. The exception is melodic instruments: violin, flute, viola, which sound better with accompaniment. Choose piano or guitar as the second instrument - you can play chords on them.
Step 2
Study the literature on the selected tools. Find out who designed the first copy, what tools preceded the appearance of your chosen one, what technical features were before and what are now.
Study genre and form theory separately. Listen to the works of other composers who wrote in it; analyze the scores of the works at the same time. Find out in what everyday cases this genre was used (for example, a requiem - a funeral service, a serenade - a night love song, a hymn and vivat - a solemn song, etc.). Analyze what instruments have traditionally been used in this genre. In this regard, reconsider your choice of instruments: is there a need to play blues on domra?
Step 3
Analyze and literary basis. Start from her rhythm, listen to assonations and alliterations. Write down your impressions of the text. Say it out loud more often. Try this exercise: say one vowel, then one consonant poem.
Step 4
Write down all your thoughts. It is desirable that they have the form of rhythms or melodies, but if desired, any information can be turned into sound. Listen and watch what is happening around you. Gradually fill the space of a piece of music with melodies and rhythms that you hear.
