Drawing any object requires knowledge of the structure of the model. So take a close look at the photograph of the item. Examine the parts that make up the tool. Admire the harmony of the lines and the beauty of the lacquered wood. If the hand itself reaches for the pencil, get to work without delay.
It is necessary
- - balalaika photograph;
- - ruler;
- - pencil;
- - paints;
- - paper.
Instructions
Step 1
The balalaika consists of three main parts: the body or body in the old way, the neck with frets, the head with the tuning pegs. The body includes a deck - front and back, glued from separate wooden parts. There are usually six or seven of them.
Step 2
On the soundboard there is a resonator hole - a voice or "window". There is a shell above it. It is made to protect the deck during energetic play. Please note that not all balalaikas have a carapace. On many instruments, instead of this detail, a pattern is drawn - usually flowers and berries. Often balalaikas are painted under Khokhloma, Gorodets painting, Gzhel, or other Russian ornaments are applied.
Step 3
Now you know the structure of a musical instrument and it's time to start drawing it on paper. Look at the photographs of the balalaika: the body looks like a triangle, the neck looks like an elongated rectangle, and the head looks like an irregular quadrangle. It is enough to draw these figures in the correct proportion to get a schematic representation of the balalaika.
Step 4
Soften the lines, make them live. Round the corners of the body and head slightly. Draw a "window" and apply a nice pattern around it. Use elements of Russian painting: stylized flowers, leaves, a vine with bunches of fruits, red cranberries and curly grass.
Step 5
Draw frets and three strings on the fretboard. Draw the pegs on the head. Check with the photo to avoid being mistaken about the little things and the proportions of the details.
Step 6
Darken the resonator hole and match paints to give the instrument brightness and life. Paint over the Deku in a beige-red tone and wait for the layer to dry. Brush on a darker shade of paint and smudge to simulate a wooden surface.
Step 7
Paint the neck and head with dark chocolate paint. After drying, apply three light gray stripes - strings. Now use bright and rich colors to make the pattern around the "window" play.
