A toy flying helicopter is every boy's dream. Now the shelves of shops are lined with a wide variety of radio-controlled aircraft, but it's more interesting to try to assemble such a helicopter yourself.
It is necessary
aluminum fuselage, balsa, sandpaper, glue, knife, file, pliers, remote control with USB cable
Instructions
Step 1
First, make a drawing of the model of the helicopter on a sheet of paper, and then in full size on dense material. Cut the template out of a thick material such as cardboard or plywood for easy transfer to aluminum.
Step 2
Make the fuselage and helicopter blades from aluminum. This metal is best suited for helicopter construction due to its strength and lightness. Dress the parts of the helicopter with a metal outline. Glue all the details together. Wait for the glue to dry completely.
Step 3
Proceed with pasting the fuselage with balsa. This is a painstaking business, but the result is worth it. Wait for all parts to dry properly. After that, start making the blades of the helicopter. Also make them out of aluminum, glued over with balsa. Attach the prepared blades to the helicopter.
Step 4
When the helicopter is ready, the question arises of how to make it fly. A computer will help us here. Purchase a remote control with a USB cable for the RC Helicopter Simulator from the store.
Step 5
Connect the remote via USB to your computer. This console comes with the appropriate software that will allow your helicopter to become maneuverable. After installing the software in the "Settings" menu, set the algorithm for the maneuvers of your helicopter and enjoy aerobatics!
