But amazing plasticity and grace are common features of every member of the feline tribe. Leopard and panther are one animal, but with different color options. Try to draw these animals with a pencil, reflecting their beauty and formidable nature.

Step 1
The leopard has a large round head, muscular strong legs and a slightly elongated body. This animal climbs trees well and is a thunderstorm of monkeys. Look closely at the leopard in the photographs, pay attention to the proportions of its body, the location and size of the details of the muzzle. Select the image from which you will draw the beast. For example, when a leopard sneaks up to a victim.
Step 2
Start with a sketch. If a predator sneaks up and tries to be quiet and inconspicuous, its body stretches out almost in one line. It resembles an arrow ready to fly. The head, body and croup of the animal are located at the same level.
Step 3
Draw three ovals corresponding to these parts of the leopard's body. Specify their size by looking at the photo. Connect the circles, do not forget about the arch on the back of the animal. Make a smooth line that will unite the head and body of the beast.
Step 4
Give the head a slightly elongated shape where the nose and mouth of the leopard will be. Reflect in the picture the slightly raised shoulder blades at the withers of the animal. In front, the neck of the animal smoothly passes into the sternum, and this line can be continued to the front legs.
Step 5
Sketch the legs of a leopard with elongated ovals. See their location on the selected photo. Continue the line of the back and draw a long tail.
Step 6
On the head, mark the places where the eyes, nose, ears and mouth of the beast are. Until you draw out the details completely, the drawing should appear gradually and sequentially, from the general to the particular.
Step 7
Refine the position of the animal's paws, reflect their tension before jumping. Connect the entire shape with more precise lines and strokes, erase the incorrect details gently with an eraser. Trace the outline. Draw the details of the leopard's face. Pay attention to the fairly wide nose, round ears and expressive eyes of the beast.
Step 8
Now try to depict spots on the animal's skin. They are not round, see them in the photo. Copy the pattern of the spots on the leopard's head as accurately as possible, it will give a characteristic expression to the face of the beast.
