To learn how to draw, you have to practice it constantly. Use any free minute for quick sketches. For example, in a restaurant, while waiting for an order, you can draw a cook. If you are not sure if you can finish a drawing from nature, take a picture of the subject to complete it at home.

Instructions

Step 1

Place the sheet vertically. Divide it in half with an axis from top to bottom. The chef's figure will be located on the left half of the sheet.

Step 2

Divide the right edge of the sheet into six equal parts. Measure from the bottom of two such parts and put a point - in this place will be the edge of the table. From a point, draw a horizontal line to the left, it should be tilted from the horizontal axis of the sheet by about 20 degrees.

Step 3

Measure from the bottom edge of the sheet to the edge of the table on the left. Set aside the same segment from the left border of the sheet horizontally to the right. The axis of the human body will pass through the found point. Draw it with a vertical line.

Step 4

Divide this line into six equal parts. Set aside one such segment from the top point of the axis and about 5 mm more (for A4 sheet), mark the edges of the chef's hat at this level with an arc. Step back 1 of 6 more pieces down and draw the person's chin. At this stage, it is not necessary to achieve the exact shape of the face, you can schematically designate it with an oval.

Step 5

From the chin line, lay down two more equal segments - the end of the last of them will indicate the level of the chef's right elbow.

Step 6

To determine the width of the shoulders, set aside one and a half segments equal to the height of the face to the left of the vertical axis, and half of such a segment to the right.

Step 7

Refine the shape of the body parts in the picture. Make the shoulders sloping, determine the proportional ratio of the length of the hand and forearm.

Step 8

Draw the chef's face in more detail. Its width at the level of the ears is equal to the length from the eyebrows to the chin. Divide the vertical axis of the face into 4 equal parts, mark their borders with short horizontal strokes. The first of them will correspond to the location of the lips, the second - to the upper line of the wings of the nose, the third - to the level of the eyes.

Step 9

Before sketching out the facial features, move the right end of each of these horizontal axes down slightly. Then sketch out the shape of the lips, nose and eyes.

Step 10

Erase construction lines. Use light strokes to mark the direction of the folds on the clothing. Color the drawing with any materials.
