Christmas is a bright and joyful holiday for most people, and it is not surprising that many on this day try to please their loved ones with pleasant gifts, demonstrating their attention and care. The best gift, as you know, is a gift made with your own hands and corresponding to the theme of the holiday. For Christmas, such a gift can be a hand-knitted angel - such an angel will become a memorable souvenir for any family.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare thin yarn of beige, white and yellow colors, as well as multi-colored floss threads, hooks of different sizes, a hairpin, PVA glue and soft filler for the doll.
Step 2
Separately, following the diagrams, knit the head with the neck, body, arms and legs of the doll from the yarn of the desired color. If desired, tie the smaller parts - fingers and nose. Knit the head in a circular knit, decreasing the loops and reducing the number of columns towards the neck.
Step 3
Do not tie the torso to the end - in the middle of knitting, insert a wire frame into it and stuff the torso with soft filler. Tie the torso, lowering the loops towards the neck. In knitting the doll's legs, carefully knit the foot and heel.
Step 4
Stuff the angel's head with filler and make him a hairstyle of yellow threads, sewing the yarn to the head with a chain stitch by hand. Sew a nose to the face, embroider the face with red and black floss threads. Slide the arms and legs over the wire frame sticking out of the body, and sew them with a blind seam to the body.
Step 5
Then make a pattern of clothes for the doll and knit a dress of openwork motifs for her. Sew a shiny bead to each openwork motif.
Step 6
In order to make the angel wings, make a wire frame and tie it with white yarn with single crochets. Also, the wire can be simply wrapped with white thread. Crochet openwork patterns that resemble a shell on the hairpin, and fill the frame of the wings with these knitted patterns.
Step 7
Finally, tie a halo to the angel - to do this, tie a beautiful braid of twenty-eight elongated loops. Sew beads onto each piece of braid. Starch the braid so that it keeps its shape, close it in a circle and fasten it above the angel's head.
