Winter is cold and harsh. Swing with a sandpit under the snow, sledges are tired, and children stubbornly pull you home by the hand. Boring and that's it. If your child behaves this way, then you have completely forgotten about one wonderful entertainment, namely the sculpting of snow figures. This enjoyable activity will delight both you and your child. A little imagination and a few pairs of spare gloves will turn the playground into a magical land. Such a pastime will make you plunge into your own childhood and remember how great it is to sculpt out of snow.
It is necessary
- - several pairs of mittens, rubber gloves;
- - wooden spatula or spoon;
- - branches, stones, olives;
- - a bucket of water, paint, sponge.
Instructions
Step 1
To begin with, โwarm upโ and mold the bun. Make a small, even lump of snow, then lower it onto a snow area and start rolling slowly, collecting snow around and around. To keep the lump even, turn it from side to side, otherwise you risk dazzling the barrel.
Step 2
The snow globe should be no more than half a meter high. Add two small snowballs to make the kolobok have legs. Now start sanding the shape. Using gloved hands, start wiping the lump, smoothing it and removing excess. Avoid pushing or pushing to avoid dents and seals.
Step 3
Make a bun for the eyes and mouth. Carefully make two indentations in the ball where the eyes should be, remove the excess snow. For the pupils, stones, cones or olives of the same size brought from home will do. The mouth will turn out from a thin rounded rod. Place it where you want it and secure around the edges by adding a little snow. Sand these places with a mitten.
Step 4
Bring a bucket of warm water from home with yellow gouache added to it. Put a rubber glove on your hand, take a sponge and soak it thoroughly in the prepared solution. Then start gently rubbing the snow figure with a sponge, gradually turning it yellow. The gingerbread man is ready.
Step 5
To make a seal, you need to roll some snowballs: three medium sized and four small. Lay them out on the snow, like a caterpillar, in the following order: first a medium lump, then a small one, again two medium ones, then three small ones. Fill up the spaces between the balls with snow. Squat down and shape the shape you want. The first lump of medium size is the head, the smaller lump is the neck, the next two are the body, the rest are the transition from body to tail. The shape tapers towards the tail, so when you align from the last snow globe, you will be left with a flattened shape, like an arrow. Sand the shape of the seal with your hands to make it smooth.
Step 6
The animal's muzzle should be slightly elongated, so put pieces of snow on the first lump and level the place of the drop. Use round stones for the nose and eyes, and thin twigs for the mustache.
Step 7
Now you need a blue bucket of water. Add blue or purple gouache, or mix several colors at once. By analogy with the above method, give the seal a "color". Use a sponge to paint over small areas. At the very end of the work, you can pour over the figure from the bucket, but this must be done with care so as not to spoil the surface. The seal will harden and become smooth and shiny.
Step 8
The snow cow is a more complex figure, but also more interesting. Roll seven lumps of equal size. Put three tightly to each other, install one more on them, immediately fill the resulting holes with snow. Your task is to hold the balls together so that they do not come apart. The last snow globe is the head, place it on either side on top of the two lumps already connected. Secure.
Step 9
Shape the figure, start with the body. Add some snow for the back and sand, let the sides be solid and smooth. Make the tail out of rolled snow in the form of a rolling pin: attach and adjust to size, cutting off the excess with a twig.
Step 10
Complete the animal's face by scooping the snow at a right angle, then smooth the corners with a glove, giving a soft outline. Sculpt small ears and attach to the head, also make eyes from the lumps - let them become voluminous. If you are thinking of making a bull, you cannot do without two horns. Use a curved, thick branch: break it in two and cover each with snow.
Step 11
After connecting all the details and aligning the surface of the snow shape, add colors to it. This will require several buckets of water and a whole palette of paints. Horns and eyes - paint black, also apply large beautiful spots on the body of the animal with a sponge. You can add more yellow and pink spots to cheer up those around you with your craft. Pour the area of snow near the figure with water to which green gouache has been added, like a cow walking in a meadow.
