One of the funniest winter activities is the snow slide, or rather, skiing from it. The slide especially attracts the attention of children, and adults are not averse to experiencing a whirlwind of incomparable sensations. It can be done almost at the very beginning of winter, as soon as the required amount of snow falls and the period of cold weather sets in.

Step 1
Take a wide snow shovel. You can buy it at the hardware store. Shovel the snow into a pile, the higher it is, the better. If you are making a slide for a small child, it is better to make it not very high.
Step 2
Shape your creation. The width of the slide should be about 1.5 meters, and even better 2 meters. Choose the height at your discretion. The length can be 3-5 meters or more. The best option is a five-meter slide.
Step 3
You don't have to do the bumpers, they are formed by themselves when you start filling the slide. But make the steps from the high part. To do this, compact the snow and take small steps, removing excess snow with a shovel. If the slide is high, and the rise is steep, then make steps about 50 centimeters wide, so it will be safer to climb them.
Step 4
Fill the slide with water. It is advisable to do this from a spray hose or a regular watering can. Use only cold water, and hot water can ruin all your work. It is better not to fill the steps.
Step 5
After the first watering, let the water freeze. Then pour the slide a few more times until the surface of the ice is flat, without bumps. If deep grooves are formed in places, cover them with snow and moisten them with water. Add and water until they are level with the main ice mass.
Step 6
Once the ice is completely frozen, you can start skating. Do not forget to take an ice sled or ordinary thick cardboard, so the speed of going down the hill will be much higher. It is advisable for children under three years old to ride in a pair with one of the parents.
