Downhill skiing is a great winter activity that the whole family can participate in. In order for the slide to be sufficiently slippery, smooth, and most importantly, to stand all winter, it must be properly filled.

It is necessary

  • - watering can;
  • - shovel;
  • - putty knife;
  • - bucket;
  • - latex gloves;
  • - wooden plank.

Instructions

Step 1

The slide should not be very steep, the ideal ratio of slide height to length is one to four. In addition, it is necessary to equip a roll-out, it should be one and a half times longer than the slide itself. It also needs to be poured to make the ride easy and smooth.

Step 2

Before pouring the slide, you need to let it brew for 2-3 days, so that its frame is completely strengthened and compressed. It is recommended to start pouring in frost from -20 degrees, otherwise the slide may “float. The ideal time for pouring is 7 pm, it is unlikely that it will get warmer outside, and the slide can quickly solidify.

Step 3

Wear warm mittens and heavy rubber gloves over them. Pour cold water into an ordinary garden watering can and gently water the slide along the entire perimeter of the slope, as well as the place where it rolls out. One watering can will not do, since it is necessary that the compressed snow is completely saturated with water.

Step 4

After watering from a watering can, small holes form on the mountain and rollout. They need to be repaired before they are frozen, otherwise clothes can be torn or scratched when rolling over the notches.

Step 5

Put snow in a bucket and add a little water to make something like gruel in consistency. Take a spatula or shovel and spread the mass of water and snow in a thin even layer around the entire perimeter of the slide and rollout. For safety, from wet snow, build curbs along the slope with a height of 30-40 centimeters. Leave the slide for a few hours to freeze.

Step 6

When the slide hardens, coat it again. Then walk with a flat board along the slope of the slide - this will make it smooth and slippery. After that, it is necessary to pour over the entire slide from the watering can again and leave it overnight. The next morning the slide will be ready to ride!
