It's always nice to make someone happy, especially a child. In the summer you can have some fun, in the winter others. On a sunny winter day, riding down an ice slide can bring a lot of joy to your little one. And how can you do it and fill it yourself?

It is necessary

  • - shovel
  • - bucket or watering can
  • - gloves - woolen and rubber

Instructions

Step 1

Build a snow mountain out of snow. Correlate its size with the age of your child: for a kid, a slide is not needed very high, for a schoolchild it can be built to a person's height. Throw a pile of snow and arrange the descent from the hill. It should not be steeper than 45 degrees, because such a slide will be dangerous for children. Smooth the surface of the slide with a shovel. Make sure that when rolling off it, the child will not run over an obstacle - a stone, tree, bush or fence - and will not jump out onto the roadway. The longer the roll, the more fun the skating will be.

Step 2

Build steps on the back of the slide. Also, don't make the climb too steep. The steps themselves should be wide and comfortable. And try not to flood them with water!

Step 3

The most durable and slippery slides are those that are lined with snow soaked in water. The procedure is not very pleasant and simple. Experience shows that the hands freeze thoroughly during wrapping. To reduce the flow of cold, you need to wear warm gloves - woolen or down, and on top of them - rubber. Pour warm water into the bucket and, after throwing as much snow as it will fit, proceed to covering. Having covered the entire surface of the slide with an ice crust, lay out the sides, about 20 cm high.

Step 4

You need to fill the ice slide several times within 2-3 days. It is advisable to do this in a light frost, because if it is warm, then the water will be absorbed, and if it is too cold, it will freeze before it can be distributed over the surface. Filling can be done from a hose, bucket or watering can with cold water. When watering from a watering can, the surface of the slide is smoother. If you are working with a hose or bucket, make sure that the surface does not become bumpy. Don't forget to water the roll surface as well.

Step 5

It is best to go down the ice slide on the ice. It provides good rental speed and range. Sleds are more suitable for skiing from natural mountains. A small pile of snow can be poured on the place where the children will stop, to secure their landing.
