You will be able to draw a soldier if you have a little experience in drawing people in general. To make the hero recognizable, give him a characteristic pose and reproduce the military uniform in the smallest detail.

It is necessary

  • - paper;
  • - pencil;
  • - eraser.

Instructions

Step 1

Fasten the sheet of paper vertically on the tablet. Divide it mentally in half with the vertical axis. In the right half you will need to draw a soldier, the left half will be occupied by a gun.

Step 2

Divide the right half in half with the center vertical axis. It should not touch the top and bottom edges of the sheet, leave about half a centimeter of free space. This axis will conventionally designate the human spine. Divide it into several sections. Separate a segment from above, which will be equal to the height of the head. Then count how many times this segment fits in the space from the neck to the waist, from the waist to the knees, from the knees to the feet. Reflect all these proportions in the picture.

Step 3

Since the soldier does not stand at attention, but took an emphasis, preparing to fire, the central axis must be bent in several places. Tilt the area at the level of the neck slightly forward, and at the level of the shoulders - to the right of the center.

Step 4

Divide the length of the axis from the shoulders to the bottom edge in half. Draw two lines from this point - the axes of the legs. They need to be deflected from the center line at a distance equal to half the height of the head.

Step 5

It remains to draw the lines of the hands. Mark the shoulders with the horizontal axis. From the ends of this segment, draw two lines on each side, equal in length. The elbow is at the junction.

Step 6

Now, based on all the segments, you can draw the volume of the body. At the same time, take into account the draperies and folds on the clothes - they do not literally repeat the outlines of the body. First draw the large details - tunic, trousers, boots, helmet. Then go to the details - draw small details - belt, pockets, watches. Draw the gun last.

Step 7

If you want to draw a soldier, not a fictional, but a real army, find a photo of his uniform and reflect all the signs of the suit in the picture.

Step 8

Color the drawing with any materials. It can be left black and white - shaded with simple pencils of different softness or charcoal. Also, watercolor or gouache is suitable for this purpose. First, fill in all the large parts of the picture with color, then paint over the folds on the clothes with a thinner brush and paint shadows.
