Snow figures and sculptures can not only decorate a winter park, but also delight kids who can appreciate any true creativity. To make a snow figure, you will need, first of all, snow, which is enough in Russia, and, of course, a developed creative imagination.

Instructions
Step 1
Determine what exactly you want to do. It is advisable to sketch on paper a sketch of the future figure, or even better - to sculpt a reduced copy from plasticine. Now is the time to go out into the snowy expanses. Try to keep your clothes light, but at the same time warm and comfortable.
Step 2
Choose a method for making the snow figure. It is recommended to use the frame method of making a snow sculpture. The frame will provide the strength of your creation, because snow is a fairly soft material and requires strengthening from the inside. In addition, the frame will not allow anyone to easily break or spoil the sculpture if it is on an unguarded site.
Step 3
Stock up on bars, sticks, planks and make a frame in accordance with the sketch and plasticine model. You may need some carpentry tools for work - a hacksaw, a hammer, nails.
Step 4
Now stock up on some container (a regular bucket will do). Pour half the water into the bucket. Pour snow on top. Use only clean snow, no inclusions of debris and impurities, no earth and sand. Wear warm rubberized gloves available from your local hardware store.
Step 5
Collect wet snow from a bucket and begin to coat the finished frame with this gruel. Gradually gain volume and sculpt the shape that you have outlined. Check with sketch and model. Since you are using the snow in half with the water, you will end up with a snow and ice sculpture. After freezing, the snow figure will resemble an ice monolith in strength.
Step 6
Finish the finished sculpture with a wooden scraper, choosing excess material and emphasizing the small details of the sculpture. If you wish, you can first tint the water with watercolors or gouache. This solution will give the snow figure a unique personality and make it even more noticeable against the general background of the park.
