On September 6 and 7, 2012, parties were held in Moscow and St. Petersburg as part of the VOGUE magazine Fashion Night event. They were attended by Vogue editors, celebrities, models and retailers. The main goal of the campaign was announced to support the fashion industry.
For the fourth year in a row in Moscow, fashion stores and boutiques have supported the ideas of Vogue magazine. This time, they once again opened their doors at night and turned ordinary shopping into an enchanting party, including many special offers, various presentations and unexpected gifts for guests.
In 2012, the number of participants in the Fashion Night in Moscow exceeded a hundred. The main activity was concentrated in GUM and in Stoleshnikov Lane, as well as on Kuznetsky Most and Central Department Store.
Among the invited stars at Fashion's Night Out in the capital was one of the leading top models, the muse of famous designers - Natalia Vodianova. T-shirts with portraits of the model painted by five famous artists were specially made for the Fashion Night event. The proceeds from the sales were transferred to the Naked Heart Foundation created by Natalia Vodianova.
Natalia Vodianova and Victoria Davydova, who is the editor-in-chief of VOGUE, walked along the main shopping points of Moscow together with the guests of the holiday. In GUM, in the UGG Australia store, in honor of the “Naked Heart” charity event, glasses with Cinzano were raised, guests and the Patrizia Pepe boutique visited. For the VOGUE team and Natalia Vodianova, the shopping marathon ended in the Fendi boutique located in Stoleshnikov Lane: the top model chose a bag from the new 2 Jours collection, after which everyone left for the afterparty.
On this day, within the framework of the event, design parties organized by Kira Plastinina were held in the largest representative offices of the LUBLU Kira Plastinina brand - in BOSCO Vesna and in TSUM. On the territory of the centers it was possible to get acquainted with the designer's new collection and listen to a DJ set in which Kira herself took part together with the famous Moscow DJ Dima Yaponets. The guests of Kira's party were Mila Jovovich, Irina Tchaikovskaya, Ksenia Chilingarova, Laura Dzhug, Alexander Terekhov, Alexey Kiselev and other celebrities.
The event was held in St. Petersburg for the first time. The main event of the Fashion Night in the northern capital was the grand opening of a modern chic department store managed by the team of the Moscow Central Department Store. Previously, this building housed the "House of Leningrad Trade". Karina Dobrotvorskaya and Alla Verber, who are indigenous residents of St. Petersburg, made ceremonial speeches at the opening, and Victoria Davydova cut the red ribbon at the entrance to the new department store.
In 2012, 18 countries take part in Fashion's Night Out. Holland joined the project for the first time. Along with Russia, the UK, USA, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Korea and Australia opened Fashion's Night Out on September 6. Following them, India, China, Taiwan, Japan, Portugal, Brazil, Turkey and Holland will join the international Vogue holiday. Fashion's Night Out in Greece will end on September 20.
