Many people can feel like a jeweler and try to make a truly exclusive piece of jewelry. To do this, you do not need to use expensive materials and tools, which are available, perhaps, only to specialists. After all, even from a simple aluminum or copper wire, it is quite possible to make beautiful things.
Wire necklace
Use thick aluminum or copper wire to make your jewelry. It is advisable to use a new one so that there are no scratches or chips on it. You will also need:
- a sheet of paper in a cage;
- a simple pencil;
- thin wire;
- beads;
- chain;
- connecting rings;
- a clasp for a necklace;
- round-nose pliers;
- pliers;
- nippers;
- a hammer;
- substrate.
Start with making a sketch, think over all the main details and the size of the future necklace. Draw it in full size on a piece of paper, draw each element. It is more convenient to do this work on a regular piece of notebook paper in a box, so it is best of all to observe the proportions of the decoration. Transfer the decorations individually to the second sheet.
Cut a piece of thick wire to the desired length and bend it with the pliers to the desired shape. Twist the curls on the details with round-nose pliers. Place the parts on a backing. Ideally, this should be a small anvil, but a wooden kitchen board can be used as well. Tap the wire lightly with a hammer, flattening the parts. Try to keep the thickness the same. Periodically apply details to the pattern.
Take the main piece of the necklace and start braiding it with thin wire. For this purpose, beading wire is quite suitable. When you get to the place where the next element is attached, attach it to the main one and wrap their sides together. Periodically, you can fasten beads and beads in the same way.
Attach one connecting ring at the edges of the jewelry. Attach 2 pieces of chain to them on each side, to which you attach the clasp.
Earrings with wire stones
Products with gems are very beautiful. Select 2 medium-sized stones to craft earrings. You will also need wire, wire cutters, round nose pliers, connecting rings and ear wires.
Take a stone, choose the side that will look the most advantageous in the product. Make a thick wire frame.
Cut 2 pieces of equal length. Fold them together and twist them in the middle, making 3-4 turns. Lift the ends of the wire up. Insert a stone between them. Place the twisted part so that it is 1-2 mm above the lower edge of the stone and on its back side so that they are not visible from the front.
Twist the ends of the wire at the top. Bend the edges and hide between the wire behind the stone. Attach the connecting ring, and the hook to it.
