The eastern attribute of the holiday - a flying lantern - has become a part of the life of many Russians and often becomes the culmination of a celebration. You can make it yourself from paper or ordinary bags.
It is necessary
- Tracing paper;
- Cardboard;
- Threads;
- Glue;
- Candles in aluminum cups;
- Paints;
- Garbage bags of 60 liters (transparent);
- Food foil;
- Thick knitting needle;
- Cotton wool;
- Thin copper wire;
- Alcohol;
- Scotch.
Instructions
Step 1
To assemble a paper flashlight, roll a cylinder out of tracing paper and glue it. Then cut two circles out of the cardboard. The diameter of the first circle should be equal to the diameter of the tracing paper cylinder, and the second should be half that size. Glue the large circle to the end of the cylinder.
Step 2
Tie a small circle to the other end of the cylinder with threads in four places. The distance from the edges of the circle to the edges of the tracing paper should be 1-1.5 cm. This smaller circle will be the bottom of the cylinder
Color the flashlight, put a candle on the bottom inside.
Step 3
Flashlight from the package.
Wind two foil straws around the knitting needle. Put the tubes in a cross, put cotton wool in the place of their connection. Wire the structure.
Step 4
Expand the package. Cut the foil cross to fit exactly the size of the bag opening.
Tape the bag and the crosspiece with tape. You should get a balloon, but instead of a basket, a cross made of foil.
Lightly dampen a cotton swab with alcohol to prevent the flashlight from igniting in flight.
