Any knitter needs to learn how to put on stitches. In many cases (when creating openwork and embossed canvases, as well as for expanding knitting and processing some details), she will need yarns. The main difference between the thrown loops from each other is in the way they are performed. Straight, or open, yarns are usually used for "perforated" patterned products (openwork). Inverse, closed (they are also called air loops), help to carry out the required number of increases.
It is necessary
- - two straight or circular needles;
- - yarn.
Instructions
Step 1
Bring the end of the working (right) knitting needle under the thread and make a movement away from you, after which you need to return the knitting needle to its original position. Be sure to support the resulting looped loop with your index finger, as it can easily slip off the knitting needle. You have an open yarn over.
Step 2
Knit yarn over next row as purl loop. To do this, you need to insert the working needle into the bow of the thrown loop, moving from right to left and forward (towards yourself). Practice with the execution of such a purl loop if you are trying to get a part of an openwork pattern - a hole, and then a crossed loop.
Step 3
Count the loops carefully so as not to make unnecessary additions and not to expand the knitted fabric. So that the number of loops is not added, after each yarn in the current row, be sure to knit the next two loops together.
Step 4
Try a closed yarn over. Grab the yarn (from the knitted fabric) with your left index finger and twist it clockwise.
Step 5
Insert the right knitting needle under the thread folded on your finger, remove the resulting loop and tighten it. If you do everything correctly, then in the next row the holes at work will not appear. The back yarn will only add extra loops to you.
Step 6
Sew two rolled loops at the same time (double yarn). This knitting method is necessary to create some patterns on the product. In this case, in the next row, the double crochet loops are tied in the front - purl sequence.
Step 7
Finally, try a so-called crochet with an untied, removed loop. For him, you need to throw the first loop of the left knitting needle to the right one; perform an open thrown loop, and knit the next one according to the main pattern of the work. When performing the next row, knit the yarn together with the removed loop - you will not have an increase, and the knitting will become more voluminous and loose.
