Making soap with your own hands is an exciting experience. At home, you can make soap of the most bizarre shape and unusual color, for example, it can be a two-layer soap made from a base.
Double Layer Honey Soap
To prepare the first (green) layer, you will need the following components:
-1-1.5 tsp avocado oils;
- 8-9 drops of green dye;
- 180-200 g of a soapy white base;
- 15-17 drops of mandarin aromatic oil.
The soap base is cut into small cubes and placed in a metal container, which is placed in a water bath. Make sure that the part of the dish filled with the soap base is completely submerged in boiling water. Next, the base is melted (a uniform liquid mass should be obtained) and enriched with avocado oil, as well as green dye. After another 3-5 minutes, essential oil is added to the soap mixture. Then the selected mold is sprayed with alcohol and the resulting composition is poured into it. To avoid bubbles, the surface of the soap is also sprayed with alcohol. On average, this soap hardens for 20-25 minutes.
To prepare the second layer, take the following ingredients:
- 0.5 tsp grape oil;
- 1-1.5 tsp honey;
- 1 tbsp. dry flowers of calendula;
- 7-8 drops of orange aromatic oil;
- beeswax;
- 190-200 g of a transparent soap base;
- 6-8 drops of yellow dye.
The soap base cut into small cubes is placed in a microwave oven for 15-20 seconds (at high power - 500 W). After that, the liquid base is enriched with grape seed oil, honey, dye and dried calendula flowers. When the composition cools down a little, add essential oil. Then the first layer is again sprayed with alcohol and the second layer is poured. Finally, decorate the soap on top with foundation and leave it to harden.
Making two-layer soap "Zvezdochki"
You will need the following set of ingredients:
- 38-40 g of a white base;
- 115-120 g of a transparent soap base;
- 2-3 drops of blue dye;
- 5 drops of lavender aromatic oil;
- 5-6 drops of jojoba oil.
The white soap base is cut into small pieces and placed in the microwave for 15-20 seconds (it is advisable not to overheat the mass: the base should only melt, but in no case should it boil). After that, a blue pigment is introduced into this liquid and the components are mixed. The painted mass is poured into a rectangular shape (it should be sprinkled with alcohol) and cooled. After 37-40 minutes, the soap is removed from the mold and cut out using a metal star shape.
The second layer is made separately. Melt 40 g of a transparent base and mix with 1-2 drops of jojoba oil. The rectangular shape is lightly sprayed with alcohol and a transparent soap mass is poured into it. To prevent the appearance of bubbles, a little alcohol is sprayed on top of the soap.
Blue stars are laid out on a frozen transparent base. Separately, the remaining transparent base is melted in the microwave, after which 4-5 drops of jojoba oil are introduced into it and aromatic oil is added. Carefully pour this mass into the stars laid on a transparent base with this mass. Spray the surface with alcohol on top. The two-layer soap is ready: it is allowed to cool and carefully removed from the mold.
