Crafts made of corrugated paper are gaining more and more new fans, since the technique is very simple, which is accessible even to children. And the most common corrugated paper crafts are flowers, from which chic bouquets are collected that are practically indistinguishable from living ones.

You can try to make an elegant orchid that will decorate the interior and never fade.

It is necessary

  • - corrugated paper of violet, white, yellow, light pink and green colors;
  • - scissors;
  • - glue;
  • - wire;
  • - rope;
  • - wooden skewers.

Instructions

Step 1

We prepare blanks, for each bud you will need: purple pieces of 3x4 cm (2 pieces) and 3x7 cm (1 piece), a yellow piece of 7x14 cm, a white piece of 7x1.5 cm, five light pink pieces of 3x8 cm.

Step 2

We make out the blanks. Cut the pink paper into pointed petals, and the purple paper into rounded-edged petals.

Step 3

With scissors we give the blanks a twisted look.

Step 4

We begin to form the core of the orchid. To do this, fold the yellow piece of paper in half through a wooden skewer, and then pull both edges of the blank to the center.

Step 5

Carefully take out the skewer and twist the resulting accordion into a circle. So we get the central part of the orchid.

Step 6

We form a tendril from a thin strip of white corrugated paper, twisting it onto a pencil.

Step 7

Then we glue the prepared antennae to the core of the flower.

Step 8

Opposite the antennae we attach a long purple petal (size 3x7 cm), and wrap the resulting blank with two purple petals of a smaller size (3x4 cm).

Step 9

We form the last row, which consists of five pale pink petals. After gluing them to the workpiece, we pull their tips outward.

Step 10

We fix all the petals of the resulting orchid from the inside with a wire.

Step 11

By the same principle, we make another 3-5 buds.

Step 12

Form orchid leaves. To do this, cut out a strip 10-15 cm long from green corrugated paper, from which we cut out the rounded edges.

Step 13

In the middle of the sheet we put a strip of glue on which we attach the rope. You need to make 4-6 such leaves.

Step 14

Let's start assembling the orchid. We wrap the wire with green paper, and then attach flowers and leaves to it. The finished branch with flowers can be put in a vase or pot for indoor flowers.
