Today, corrugated paper is considered one of the most popular packaging materials. You can get it at almost any office supply store, or you can make it yourself.
It is necessary
Ruler, multi-colored paper of different densities, pencil, acrylic paints
Instructions
Step 1
Take a sheet of plain colored paper. On the seamy side, with a pencil, draw parallel fold lines along the entire length of the sheet. The smaller the distance between the lines, the finer the ribbing of the paper will be.
Step 2
Bend the paper along the lines you have drawn using a ruler. You should get an accordion. When you're done, place the accordion under the press for a while (depending on the weight of the paper, from several hours to several days).
Step 3
Remove the paper from under the press and flatten it. The paper will now have wrinkles (or ribs). She will be able to reach easily.
Step 4
Corrugated paper will look more interesting if its “edges” are additionally painted in a different color. To do this, use acrylic paint and a brush. Apply some paint to the paintbrush, and then paint a few strokes over the rough material. When the bulk of the paint is gone from the brush, apply paint to the corrugated paper as lightly as possible, taking care not to get paint into the gaps between the “ribs”. The color of the paint should match the color of the paper.
