How to adjust the scope

It is necessary

  • - rifle;
  • - plumb line;
  • - level.

Instructions

Step 1

To correctly set the scope on an optical rifle, you need a level and a plumb line, the length of which should be between 120 and 180 cm. Hang the plumb line, then set up the rifle and aim. You should see this plumb line in the scope.

Step 2

You need to adjust the sight in such a way that the mark that is inside it - the vertical stroke of the marker - is parallel to the plumb line. Next, you need to work with the level. The one that has an air bubble inside is suitable for your purpose. The level must be placed so that it is on the receiver perpendicular to the sight. The rifle at this moment should be positioned horizontally.

Step 3

Check your rifle settings again. You should again see through the scope that it is aimed parallel to the plumb line. Again, you can adjust this according to the position of the vertical marker. After such manipulations, fix the bracket and scope. Again, make sure the marker is correctly - parallel - positioned in relation to the plumb line.

Step 4

If you have any vision problems, you need to additionally adjust the eyepiece. To do this, loosen its fixation. Then start turning the adjustment counterclockwise. Do it all the way.

Step 5

After completing this procedure, look at the sky or any other bright spot through the scope. Your target must be at least 10 m away from the scope. During this viewing, start rotating the eyepiece adjustment, now clockwise. You need to do this until you see that the crosshair, which is visible in the scope, becomes clear. But at the same time, you do not need to constantly look into the scope, otherwise the eye will get used to blurring, and you will not understand how to properly adjust the scope.

Step 6

At the end of these simple manipulations, tighten the adjustment. Your weapon is now ready for use.
