It is not difficult to make a sniper scope, since it has one of the simplest drawings. You can also draw your own sight, which is not provided in the game menu.

It is necessary

  • - graphics editor;
  • - Sprite Viewer;
  • - Sprite Wizard.

Instructions

Step 1

Open the graphics editor installed on your computer. Since the sniper's sight is easy enough to draw, use the standard Paint program. Choose to create a new image with parameters 256x256x256.

Step 2

Draw a sniper scope on a white background with black straight lines, and then save the picture to your desktop with the name sniper_scope.bmp. Be sure to check the file extensions, if it is not.bmp, the scope is not recognized in the game.

Step 3

Download and install Sprite Viewer on your computer. If you don't find one, you can also use its Sprite Wizard counterpart. After the software is installed on your computer, launch the utility and find the Browse button in its menu.

Step 4

Click it and load the icon you have drawn, saved on your desktop or any other place convenient for you, into the program. Select the sight in the list and in the editing menu apply the "Additive - 256 colors with additive transparency" parameter.

Step 5

After that, use the preview function of your newly created scope. If nothing else needs editing, save it to the Sprites folder in the cstrike directory on your local drive. You can find them in the folders where you installed the game, for example Games or Program Files.

Step 6

If the system prompts you to replace the file when copying to the scope folder, confirm the action. The same applies when you want to customize the scope of your choice. You can give it any shape, observing the basic rules - you need to draw only with black, the file resolution must be.bmp and its parameters must be 256x256x256, you can draw anything, but do not forget to edit the transparency parameter in the scopes editor.
