For humans, turtles have always been special animals. For many peoples, they are considered cult. After all, it was not for nothing that in ancient times it was believed that the very three whales on which our world rests are on a huge turtle. Therefore, according to various cultural sources, a paper turtle craft will not only look cute, but also bring good luck to your home.

Instructions

Step 1

Turtle in origami technique. Simple option.

Make two diagonal folds on the sheet, folding it twice in opposite directions with a triangle. Then fold the upper right corner towards the lower left, but not along the marked line, but departing from it about a centimeter. Fold the workpiece in half. Bend the corner of the workpiece to form the head. Color in the finished turtle.

Step 2

Turtle in origami technique. Difficult option.

Fold the sheet into a basic Triangle shape. To do this, turn the sheet with a corner towards you so that it is located in a diamond. Then align the bottom corner of the sheet with the top and fold the sheet. You will get an isosceles triangle.

At the triangle, bend both corners to the center. Turn the resulting workpiece upside down and fold the two lower corners of the "valley" (away from you). Expand the upper corners to the sides - you get the legs of the future turtle.

Step 3

Cut one layer of paper with scissors and fold the corners into a valley. Wrap the top corner of the workpiece and the sides with a "valley". Make another fold with the valley and turn the blank over.

Step 4

Turtle in quilling technique.

Purchase special quilling paper in three colors (yellow, green, brown). The strips should be about 63 mm long and 3 mm wide. You can cut the colored strips yourself. Now, using a special tool or a toothpick with a split tip, twist a few basic shapes, from which the turtle will be assembled. Secure the ends of the rolls with PVA glue.

Make two rolls (simple tight spirals) of brown paper for the turtle's legs. Use green paper to make a drop for the head and a large roll for the torso. Use yellow paper to make two square rolls for the shell.

Step 5

Gather all the parts together and fasten with PVA glue. This turtle can be attached as a decoration to a postcard.
