It is necessary

  • - polymer clay (plastic);
  • - rolling pin;
  • - glass board (for rolling out layers);
  • - glass jars (200-250 ml);
  • - stationery pins;
  • - accessories for assembling beads (chains, clasp, rings 5 mm)
  • - glue (varnish);;
  • - blade;
  • - a needle;

Instructions

Step 1

Knead a piece of green clay well in your hands, roll it out with a rolling pin to the thickness of the layer - 0.6-1 mm. It is better to make the strip longer so that you can cut more blanks for beads.

Cut out a rectangle (35 mm wide) from the layer and apply slices in the form of chrysanthemums on top in random order, rolling them with a rolling pin to the green layer.

Cut strips 4 mm wide from a rectangle.

Make through holes on each strip with a needle on both sides, retreating 2.5-3 mm from the edge.

Step 2

Lifting with a blade from the board, transfer the strips to a jar (250 ml) and bake them in a gas oven at 140 ° C for 19 minutes.

Jars are placed in the oven without waiting for it to heat up. The finished stripes should bend, but not break, and if they break, then you need to finish baking.

After baking, the blanks are allowed to cool on the jars and after 15-20 minutes they can be removed by gently prying them off with a blade.

Step 3

Divide the finished blanks into stripes and collect beads from them.

One bead requires 11 stripes and 2 pins (2 pins).

Putting all the strips one after the other, leave the end of the pin free by 5 mm.

Step 4

Thus, collect the bead on the second pin from the other side, starting from the last inner strip, that is, the first strip will be put on the second pin, which was put on the first pin. In this case, the stripes should overlap, as it were.

Hide the tip of the second pin inside the bead by carefully screwing it completely into the bead up to the loop.

Step 5

Drop a drop of glue on the base of the finished bead so that the stripes do not move and the pin does not accidentally pull out, or you can varnish the entire bead.

Connect the beads with rings, attach a clasp.
