Auction is an event for the sale of goods by creating competition among buyers. So, at the auction, a lot is put up, a group of persons interested in purchasing this lot gathers, its initial cost is assigned, and by increasing this cost to the maximum that buyers are ready to offer, the auction takes place. Until recently, the auctions were carried out in reality, but today it is possible to organize and conduct an electronic auction.
It is necessary
- - a computer;
- - access to the Internet;
- - auction site
Instructions
Step 1
Anyone can organize their own auction and for this it is not necessary to be an advanced company or to have certain skills. To conduct an electronic auction, gather a circle of interested people who will be able to purchase the goods you put up for sale, notify them about the auction at least three weeks before registration.
Step 2
Take care of the preparation of lots before starting to create an auction site. Take pictures of each thing (object) separately from all sides and different angles. Present the highest requirements for photographs, as a rule, the photo should not contain "unnecessary" elements, be proportional, the minimum size is 1000 x 1000 pixels.
Step 3
Create a site for bidding if you don't already have one. Provide a registration form, statistics service, search engine. It is recommended to conclude an agency agreement with one or two electronic money systems (especially if the offered goods are expensive and require an auction deposit from the participants). Be sure to test your bidding system online, no glitches during the auction are allowed.
Step 4
Upload photos, product descriptions, auction date and declared original value to your website.
Step 5
Think about who may be interested in your lots (enterprises, organizations, firms, individuals, etc.), that is, you should initially identify for yourself who could be a potential buyer and visitor of your auction.
Step 6
Create a catalog of the products presented on your site with the date and location of the auction. This is required in order to gather interested people in one place (site) at the appointed time to start bidding.
Step 7
Send this list (catalog) to potential contributors. In this case, you can use both e-mail and regular mailing, as well as you can independently bring a product catalog, for example, to a company that may be interested in your products.
Step 8
Open the website for registration 2-3 weeks before the bidding. Collect applications (limit if necessary).
Step 9
Start bidding at the stated time. Submit one (up to three at a time) lot and the starting price for it. Next, it's up to the service of applications. Site visitors place bids, the service fixes them and counts down the time (sometimes trades go up to a day), after the time expires, the service determines the last buyer and calculates the total sales amount of the lot.
Step 10
Your task is to record this fact on the site, notify the auction participants about its results and transfer the lot to the owner.
