All needlewomen know how much coziness and comfort knitted socks bring to a person. However, not everyone has time to knit socks - for many knitters, this process is complicated, time-consuming and takes a lot of free time. The way out of this situation will be a knitting machine - using a knitting machine, you can quickly knit socks from a dense and high-quality knitted fabric.
Instructions
Step 1
You will need a double knitting machine. Measure the length of your leg and determine the knitting density depending on the type of yarn you choose. Calculate the number of sock loops for the correct size.
Step 2
Load the yarn into the knitting machine according to the instructions and cast on the loops for knitting a simple 1x1 or 2x2 elastic. Using sixty needles, tie forty rows with an elastic band. Transfer three hinges from the front of the machine to the rear, and then lower the front of the machine down, making it inoperative.
Step 3
Set the carriage for the back frame in the desired place and knit thirty rows with a crochet stitch, hanging the weights and changing their location.
Step 4
To knit the heel of the toe, divide the stitches into two parts and move one half of the needles to position D. Leave the carriage-side needles in position B. Knit the heel from the needles in position B.
Step 5
Set the carriage to partial knit and knit the first row of the heel, guiding the carriage from right to left. When you knit the second sock, guide the carriage mirrored from left to right. The working thread of knitting should lie over the extended needles.
Step 6
After each row of heel knitted, pass the thread under the outermost needle and pull it up between the first and second needles to avoid holes and knitting defects. For heel knitting, reduce the number of work needles around the edges.
Step 7
Divide the number of working heel knitting needles by three. Leave the middle section of the needles in position B, and gradually move the first and third sections to position D. Extend the needles that are on opposite sides of the carriage.
Step 8
Pass the thread under the extended needle on the right, and pull out the next needle from the opposite side of the carriage. Knit the fabric and repeat the above step until all the needles of the first and third sections are in position D.
Step 9
When half of the heel is ready, return all of the extended needles back and begin to slide the needles on the other side of the carriage to position C, forming the remainder of the heel. With the heel fully knitted, return the carriage lever from partial knit to normal mode, and then return the 30 stitches separated above to knit.
Step 10
Work 60 stitches and stitching about 50 rows. Finish knitting by crocheting the toe, using the same half-needle technique as for knitting the heel. After removing the sock from the needles, join a single seam with a knitted seam. Use the same principle to tie the second sock.
