From old jeans, you can make a fairly large number of all kinds of accessories, for example, sew a bag or make a bracelet. It turns out that you can usefully use not only the main part of the jeans, but also their pockets. I suggest you sew an original cosmetic pocket.
It is necessary
- - jeans pocket;
- - thick linen fabric;
- - a thin wooden stick;
- - rope;
- - silicone suction cup;
- - glue gun.
Instructions
Step 1
Carefully cut a patch with a pocket out of your old jeans. Then fold the edges of the pattern, iron them, and then glue them with a glue gun. In this case, a glue gun is the most suitable option, since a sewing machine will not be able to sew such a layer of fabric.
Step 2
A large flap should be cut out of thick linen. Then it is necessary to tuck its edges: first the side, then the lower and only then the upper edge. It needs to be bent in the opposite direction to form something like a tunnel. After folding, press on the resulting cuffs. Next, you need to glue them with a glue gun.
Step 3
The resulting blanks must be glued so that the denim pocket is on top of the linen patch. Thus, a small frame has turned out around the denim pocket. At this stage of work, you can decorate the product with some kind of flat toy.
Step 4
In the tunnel formed after gluing the lapels, you need to stick a wooden stick.
Step 5
Cut a piece from the rope to the desired length, then tie it to a wooden stick on both sides with knots. Then, in the middle of the rope, you need to fix a silicone suction cup-suspension. Denim makeup pocket is ready!
