If you are going to throw out old clothes, cut off all accessories from them - buttons, buttons, locks, they may still be useful to you. For example, you can make brooches from zippers. Such an adornment will organically complement an informal outfit or contrast with the tenderness of a romantic dress.
It is necessary
- - lightning;
- - a needle;
- - threads;
- - fleece;
- - button;
- - glue.
Instructions
Step 1
Take the zipper on the red base. Remove the tongue from it, leave half the fastener for the craft. Prepare in advance a needle and thread, the color of which matches the color of the base.
Step 2
Place the zipper tape on a table, press one end of it with your left thumb. Use your right hand to lay the strip around the center in circles. Turn the finished circle over to the wrong side and secure with threads. Place several seams evenly spaced apart. They should radiate from the center to the edges of the flower. The finished brooch will resemble a rose. Sew a pin or a special brooch base to it.
Step 3
A more lush flower will come from a whole lightning. Unfasten it, unfold it so that the tongue is at the bottom. Take the right half of the clasp, form a small loop from its part, secure with threads. Then fold another one and sew it to the side of the first one. Collect a flower from these petals, laying them around the core - the zipper tongue.
Step 4
If you want to make an unusual decoration, prepare for it a "background" of any geometric shape from a piece of fleece. Pick up multiple zippers that differ in size.
Step 5
Cut the largest zipper into lengths equal to the sides of the base. Lay them around the perimeter so that the fabric part is directed towards the inside of the figure, sew on the segments. Then select a smaller “caliber” zipper and position it flush against the first frame. Fill the entire background like this, gradually reducing the size of the lightning bolts.
Step 6
A metal or plastic clasp can be used as a decoration frame. Take a large, brightly colored button. Cut a piece of zipper equal to the diameter of the button. Apply glue to the fabric of the fastener, carefully wrap the button with a zipper so that the material adheres to the wrong side of the button, and the metal or plastic part frames it. Insert a pin into the eye of the button.
