Making a toy is as easy as shelling pears, you just need to know how
Making a toy is as easy as shelling pears, you just need to know how

It is necessary

You can make a big toy for a Christmas tree (a star) in 1-2 hours. To do this, we need: thick colored paper, a pencil, PVA glue or stationery, watercolor, scissors, and a little cotton with sparkles to decorate the finished toy

Instructions

Step 1

To begin with, we outline with a pencil on paper the body and frame of our future star and the mount. After that, we carefully cut out everything that is needed. We glue together the blank of the star itself and the fasteners with glue, then give the glued blanks time to dry. After the glue has completely dried, the star can be colored at your discretion. Red or golden colors are perfect for this.

Step 2

After painting the star and drying the paint, we proceed to decorate our toy. We recommend opting for glitter and cotton wool, since their combination will create the effect of a snowy surface.

Step 3

Strictly along the contour, we paste over the star with cotton wool. The main thing is that everything is even and neat, the bleeding of the glue on the surface is strictly not recommended, otherwise the cotton wool from the glue will lose its fluffiness. After all this, sprinkle sparkles on the resulting toy to give the effect of completeness of the "snow" layer. Just do not get carried away too much - overdoing it with sparkles, you will not get the desired effect.
