Even the most ordinary gift can be transformed and take on a festive look if you decorate it with a large and lush bow made of decorative ribbons. Step 1
If you want to decorate a romantic gift, weave a "terry" bow out of ribbons - for this, take sufficiently stiff ribbons that will hold the shape of the bow. Press the end of the long tape against your palm with your thumb and start winding the tape around your hand, layer by layer, until you achieve the desired winding thickness.
Step 2
Remove the tape from your palm and flatten it. Cut the corners with sharp scissors at the top and bottom, leaving an intact piece in the middle, and then unfold the tape into a ring, aligning the cut triangles.
Step 3
At the center point of the cut fragments, tie the ribbons together with a strong cord or wire, and then begin to straighten the bow loops, directing them in different directions at an angle to each other so that the bow turns out to be voluminous and round.
Step 4
There is another way to make a lush bow that looks like a large flower. You will need a long, sturdy tape. Step 15 cm from the end of the tape and bend the end into a loop, then secure it with your fingers.
Step 5
Make another loop, pressing the overlap against the first, then continue making loops of the same size until you reach the end of the tape.
Step 6
With a thin wire or cord, pull and tightly tie the overlap of the loops, and then straighten the loops in different directions. The bow will be the same lush as described above, but it will look different. These bows are best attached to large gifts, and they can also be attached to small but valuable gifts that you present to friends and family on important dates and significant holidays.
