Snowflakes made of paper are very similar to real ones falling from the sky in winter: they are just as surprisingly complex, beautiful and elegant. Why not decorate the windows of your apartment with large handmade snowflakes with the arrival of winter?
It is necessary
- - sheets of A4 white paper;
- - scissors;
- - glue;
- - ruler;
- - pencil;
- - stapler.
Instructions
Step 1
From rectangular A4 sheets, make square ones: for this, bend one corner so that a regular triangle is formed, the hypotenuse of which will be the diagonal of the square. Cut off the remaining piece of paper. You can, of course, go in another way: measure the smaller side of the paper, then set aside these dimensions on the larger side of the sheet. After that, connect two opposite sides of the rectangular sheet, drawing a line along the marked points. Cut the sheet of paper along the line you have drawn.
Step 2
Fold each square piece of paper diagonally. Then draw on the triangle three parallel lines on one side and three similar lines on the other side (you should get the following: six lines emerge from the base of the triangle, directed to its top, with three passing along one side, and the remaining three - along the other). The distance between the lines should be the same - about one and a half to two centimeters. Make incisions.
Step 3
Unfold the notched sheet and lay it in front of you. Fold the corners at the middle of the square with a tube and glue them together. After that, turn the sheet over and fold the next pair of corners (that is, move as you move away from the middle of the square), and then glue them together. Do a similar operation with all the corners, constantly turning the sheet of paper over. As a result, you will get one of the blocks of the future snowflake.
Step 4
Make the remaining blocks. The total number of blocks can be at your discretion: 6, 8 or more.
Step 5
Having made individual blocks, proceed to fasten them. Take three (if there are only 8 blocks in the snowflake, then take four) blocks and staple their corners with a stapler. Then do exactly the same operation with the next three (four) blocks, fastening them together with a stapler. Now connect these blocks together with a stapler. In addition, fasten the contact points of the individual blocks (the snowflake will take on a beautiful look).
