The Egyptian pharaoh was considered equal to the gods and thus became a mystical and sacred person. To convey this entourage of the God-man, the arbiter of destinies and the wise ruler of his lands, it is worthwhile to work a little on the image of his features and correctly place the accents.

Step 1
Look for inspiration in photographs of sarcophagi and hieroglyphs of the Egyptians themselves. There are more than enough of these materials on the Internet, so you just have to select the ones you like. If you are focusing on the hero of any film, it is best to read about him in historical reference books, since the Hollywood pharaohs are far from their prototypes.
Step 2
For example, Cleopatra is known as a woman who can charm any man. In modern films, she is shown to be leggy and slender. However, in reality, she was short and overweight. The queen, indeed, could charm anyone, but at the same time she was not the modern ideal of beauty.
Step 3
Choose the pose of the pharaoh. Having decided how your pharaoh looked about the same, you need to decide whether he will stand or sit. The easiest way, perhaps, is to depict the sovereign sitting on the throne.
Step 4
Sketch how the legs will be positioned in relation to each other, where the throne ends and in what position the hands are.

Give grandeur to the person of the pharaoh. This can be achieved by the following things: Draw out the drawing. You should get the feeling that you are, as it were, looking upwards at a huge, mighty statue. Press the throne into the wall. The huge pharaoh sitting on the throne will become a kind of part of this mighty wall, and, on the contrary, it will complement his image.
Step 6
Try not to allow smooth lines in the image of the pharaoh. His chin, cheekbones, the corners of his eyes - everything is tense and "sharpened". This is an important feature that sets the Egyptian drawing apart from many others.
Step 7
Bring Pharaoh's eyes and clothe in gold. In fact, the makeup that you can often see on the faces of punk rock stars now adorned the faces of Egyptian rulers several thousand years ago. And, as already noted, the best jewelers made gold hoops on the arms and legs of the pharaoh. Also, gold was worn on the neck, elbows and belt.

The gaze of the pharaoh, as a rule, does not carry in itself, neither anger, nor pain, nor mercy. He's not emotional. With all his appearance, he shows that he is above the world of emotions and does not waste time on it.
