School time
There is a special atmosphere in the Urals. Talented people are born in these places more often than in others. Pyotr Nikolaevich Startsev was born on July 16, 1960 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in the famous city of Sverdlovsk. My father worked at a carriage plant. Mother is a primary school teacher. The child grew and developed in a simple and strict environment. Petrusha was prepared from an early age for an independent life. He was accustomed to creative work and accuracy in all matters.
The boy did well at school. His favorite subjects were literature and physical education. Startsev studied in the orienteering section. He took part in all sports events that took place in the school and the city. In the fifth grade I learned to play guitar chords. Two years later, he organized a vocal and instrumental ensemble, which played music at school evenings. When the time came to choose a profession, Peter decided to become a physical education teacher.
Ilmen festival
In 1978, Startsev entered the athletics department at the Chelyabinsk Institute of Physical Education for the first time. Student life was conducive to vocal creativity. Peter did not part with the guitar and was a welcome guest in any company. Plus, the future bard, together with his friends, actively participated in amateur art shows. He performed not only songs of Soviet composers, but also his own compositions.
Peter met the same student Oleg Mityaev. They began to sing a duet. At one point, they were invited to the famous Ilmensky festival, which was held on the banks of the river of the same name in the Chelyabinsk region. Startsev's professional career began with a performance at this event. Having received a diploma of higher education, Peter honestly worked for three years as a physical education teacher at a school.
Personal life routes
For ten years the Mityaev-Startsev duet has delighted fans of bardic songs with their works. Their work was appreciated at its true worth at various competitions and festivals. In 1991, Peter moved to Samara and began to actively participate in the organization of various events. According to his project, an Internet competition for bard songs was drawn up, which is still being held. There is also an amateur song club "Samara Bards".
