The legendary singer of Tajikistan Raupova Nigina is a star, beauty and favorite of the people. Her voice sounded all over the world. She sang like a nightingale and kept the national image on stage.
Biography
In May 1945, Nigina Raupova was born in the small village of Shermoni in the Faizabad region of Tajikistan.
From a young age, Nigina was different from her peers, who worshiped Western pop culture. She was like a star for Tajiks and reminded of wonderful times, where there was a lot of sun, love, high mountains and blooming gardens. The girl conveyed in her songs all her love for her ancestors, the city of shady plane trees Dushanbe and distant Stalinabad. Warmed the souls of fathers and mothers in difficult post-war times.
Years of active work
Nigina's creative career began when a young girl came to work at a fabric factory in the city of Dushanbe, and became a member of an amateur art group.
The distinctive voice of Raupova was noticed and appreciated, and she moved to the national ensemble "Rubobchizanon".
She came to work on television and was included in the broadcasting and TV committee, where she began to cooperate with the Shashmakom ensemble and the State Philharmonic Society of Tajikistan. With this group, Nigina continued to perform throughout her life.
The people remembered well the songs performed by her: "Askar Bacha", "Modar", "Az Sarat Gardam", "Gazalkhoi Fayzobod", "Rezaboron", "Nozam ba chashmonat", "Allat megum bacham", "Sabzina" and others …
She continues her career as a member of the Dariyo folklore ensemble under the government of Tajikistan, but does not stop taking part in her beloved Shashmakom group.
Awards
During her creative life, Nigina Raupova has twice received the highest awards.
She receives the Rudaki Prize for her contribution to folk art and the development of the country's culture.
After 11 years, she was awarded the title of People's Hafiz (singer / songwriter) of Tajikistan.
About the singer
The personal life of the famous woman was practically not covered in the media. There was no mention of family, husband and children. She was loved for her modesty, talent and sincere singing. She was an example for compatriots. The folk singer has always performed in national dress and gave the impression of a fairy-tale princess of the east.
Eight hours before her death, Nigina took part in the filming of the TV show "Mumtoz" in Dushanbe. She answered questions, sang songs and taught young people. It was December 21, 2010.
On the morning of December 22, she was gone. She died at the age of 65 as a result of a heart attack.
Shashmakom - six maqams (tonalities) of voice sounding and melodic transitions between them. This is a genre of musical and poetic folklore, which is widespread in Asia.
