A popular type of tackle for catching fish on winter fishing is girders. Their advantage is that they do not require the direct participation of the fisherman in the process of waiting for a bite. Therefore, several girders can be placed in different points of the reservoir, which will lead to an increase in the catch.
It is necessary
- - girders;
- - fishing line;
- - leashes;
- - hooks;
- - sinkers;
- - live bait.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the required number of vents. Choose or make your own devices that are best suited for winter fishing. Their base should not freeze too much to the ice. Therefore, it is better if it is made of wood or plastic. The line spool should be selected so that it spins freely enough, but at the same time its axial play is minimal.
Step 2
Equip the vents. Wind a sufficient amount of fishing line (in most cases 20-30 meters) of a suitable diameter on the spools. Attach leads and leads to the line. Attach hooks on the leashes (double or triple hooks are used for hunting predators).
Step 3
Adjust the vents. Pay particular attention to the force at which the bite alarm should be triggered. Choose it based on the breed and expected size of the fish you will be fishing. If possible, adjust the coils (usually this is done with a nut located on the axle or with a special screw) - the line should not be completely unwound from them, otherwise it may become entangled.
Step 4
Get some live bait and go to the reservoir where fishing will be carried out. Make holes in the ice. Their location should correspond to the places where the fish are supposed to be hunted. So, schools of zander usually stay in the central part of the reservoir, pushing other fish species away from it. Pike prefers coastal areas, places with variable depth, areas heavily overgrown with grass or littered with sunken trees.
Step 5
Catch fish on gutters. Install them over the holes, plant live bait and lower the tackle into the water. Pre-measure the depth in a particular hole and rewind enough line so that the live bait can swim a short distance from the bottom. In a sufficiently strong frost, cover the bases of the vents with snow - this way the surface of the water will not freeze longer. Walk around the wells periodically and clean them of ice.
