Winter fishing has its own characteristics and charms and is strikingly different from summer fishing. In December, almost all rivers and reservoirs are covered with ice. At this time, lovers of fishing begin to become more active, they rush to enjoy the silence of a beautiful winter day and good luck in fishing.
Instructions
Step 1
December is the first month of winter, but it is still quite warm. Almost all fish are caught in the first half of December. In the second half of this month, winter makes itself felt to the fishermen, the fish gradually set off for hibernation. In December, such predators as burbot, large perch, pike perch and pike are still well caught. Chub, bream, dace, silver bream and gudgeon are much less common.
Step 2
In January, winter shows all its strength, a large number of fishermen boldly move onto the ice. In the second winter month, the fish begins to bite well after three or four stable warm days, when the air temperature on the thermometer shows at least -10 ° C, there is practically no wind. In January, the following types of fish bite well: pike, pike perch, perch and podleschik. In warm weather, you can also fish for bream, silver bream or roach. A month before the complete end of spawning, an adult burbot bites well.
Step 3
In February, biting of burbot resumes only in the third decade of the winter month. In the last days of February, the spawning of the growing burbot ends, and its active biting resumes. In the middle of the month, the nibbling of the growing perch is activated. In the last week of February, the nibble of growing and adult perch should be good. Pike perch bite is practically no different from last month's bite.
Step 4
The pike takes sluggishly, fishermen should be reminded that this predator should be caught with medium-sized spoons or small live bait. In February, good ruff fishing continues (although some literary sources claim that ruff biting in February is noticeably worsening, apparently depending on the area). In the last days of the month, a gudgeon is already caught on the hook, the biting of roach is increasing. Until the very end of February, silver bream will be caught. With an increase in the length of the day, the biting of the breeder, roach, chub, ide, grayling and trout is activated.
