Semyon was born in Pyatigorsk into a professorial family. Father and mother taught at the higher educational institutions of the city. Slepakov attended a music school since childhood, but playing the piano seemed boring to him. He felt his love for music already in high school, when he began to play the guitar and write songs. After leaving school, Semyon became a student at the Pyatigorsk Linguistic University, where he studied in two directions at once.
